Dee and Gord Colton put on an excellent end-of-season luncheon Friday, June 14th, for their Shuffleboard group, to which Lynn and I were invited. They had it catered by Food Land, and the sandwiches, fruit, and cheese trays were excellent. A few of the activity members brought homemade desserts, and I finally got to taste not one but two of Helen’s delicious butter tarts with raisins. They, indeed, are scrumptious. Everything was terrific, along with the joy of spending time together before everyone took off for a safe and happy summer.Â
