Spearing, Anthony ‘Tony’ David

Tony died peacefully with his family by his side at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood, on Tuesday, March 7th, 2023, at 86.

He will be missed by his beloved wife, Daphne, of 60 years and sons Philip, David, and Steven (Lynn). He is a cherished grandfather of Liam, Michael, Nicole, Matthew, Stephanie, Samantha, Katelyn, Alexandra and Alicia, and a great-grandfather of eight. Tony will be lovingly remembered by his extended family and friends.

Tony was a warm and caring gentleman with a big heart. No matter how he felt, he always had a big smile and a witty remark.

Instead of flowers, the family has requested donations to Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation for Campbell House or Bayshore Seniors’ Club.

Bay Shore Seniors Club had a Celebration of Life for Tony Saturday, March 11th, 2023. He had a fantastic turnout; over 100 people attended. We hope it was a memorable way to say goodbye to a wonderful friend.
