Our “Connect Luncheon” yesterday was a huge success. We had nine new members and couldn’t have asked for a more engaging group. They contributed so much.

We learned a lot about one another, and they exchanged phone numbers. They suggested a Preferred Contractor’s List, which we’ve been trying to create for a while, with only one member offering a contractor. Now, we have about five or six from Scott and a few more from other new members. They were enthusiastic about sponsorship, our 50th Anniversary, and volunteering suggestions.

Lynn made an excellent homemade light lunch with dessert. They loved the little touches, such as writing a personal note to each one of them on handcrafted cards from Marg Robertson, their Bay Shore pen, and information on the Club.

These members have not only connected but have made some new friendships.
